Already have hearing aids? We’re happy to help (even if
you purchased them somewhere else).
You don’t have to purchase your hearing aids from Happy Hearing Clinic to receive the
best hearing healthcare in Central Kentucky!
Maybe you purchased your hearing aids somewhere else. Maybe you ordered a device
online. Maybe you’ve moved, your previous provider is no longer available, or you simply
want a different place to care for your hearing.
Whatever brought you here, our first question isn’t, “Where did you buy them?”
It’s “How can we help?”
Help With Hearing Aids Purchased Somewhere Else
If you already own hearing aids, we can help determine whether they are working
appropriately and what options are available to help you hear better.
Depending on the type, age, manufacturer, and condition of your devices, services may
include:
● Hearing aid cleaning and maintenance
● Troubleshooting
● Hearing aid programming and adjustments
● Replacement parts and supplies
● Manufacturer repairs
● Bluetooth and connectivity assistance
● Hearing testing
● Real-ear verification
● Counseling about hearing and communication
● Evaluation of your current technology
Not every hearing aid or over-the-counter device can be programmed or repaired in our
office. If we can’t service your particular device, we’ll explain what we find and help you
understand your options.
Hearing Aids Sitting in a Drawer?
You’re not alone.
Sometimes hearing aids are uncomfortable. Sometimes they make things louder without
making speech clearer. Sometimes they were difficult to use or never seemed quite right.
And sometimes people simply stopped wearing them.
Before assuming hearing aids won’t work for you, let’s figure out what happened.
Bring your hearing aids with you. We can evaluate your hearing, look at the devices you
already have, and help determine whether adjustments, repairs, different expectations, or
another approach may help.
You do not have to purchase new hearing aids just because you schedule an
appointment.
Bought Hearing Aids or Hearing Devices Online?
Bring those, too.
Online and over-the-counter hearing devices vary considerably in their capabilities. Some
can be adjusted or serviced, while others cannot.
We can help you understand what you have, test whether it is appropriate for your
hearing needs, and what your next options may be.
Our goal is not to talk you into replacing something that is working for you. Our goal is to
help you hear as well as reasonably possible.
Looking for a New Audiologist?
Your hearing aids don’t have to stay with the office where you purchased them.
If you’ve moved to Kentucky, are tired of traveling for appointments, your previous
provider is no longer available, or you’re simply looking for a different approach to your
hearing care, you’re welcome at Happy Hearing Clinic.
Dr. Lucinda Batta is a Doctor of Audiology with more than a decade of experience helping
people hear and communicate more successfully.
At Happy Hearing Clinic, hearing care doesn’t end when hearing aids are dispensed.
Hearing can change. Technology can need adjustment. Listening needs can change. And
sometimes things just stop working the way they should.
We’re “hear” for it all!
What Should I Bring?
Bring your hearing aids or hearing devices, along with any accessories you have for
them, such as chargers, cases, remote controls, or other equipment.
If you have a copy of a recent hearing test, you’re welcome to bring that as well. If
updated testing is needed, we can discuss that with you.
Start With the Hearing Aids You Already Have
You may not need new hearing aids.
You may just need someone to take a closer look at the ones you already own.
Schedule an appointment with Happy Hearing Clinic in Winchester and bring your
hearing aids with you.
