Name: Lucinda Batta, AuD

Designation: Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Lucinda Batta is the founder and audiologist at Happy Hearing Clinic, where she is committed to helping people reconnect with the conversations, relationships, and moments that matter most through better hearing. With more than a decade of clinical experience, she has dedicated her career to providing evidence-based hearing healthcare with compassion, honesty, and individualized care.

Dr. Batta earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from Indiana University after completing her Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Linguistics from Purdue University. She remains committed to lifelong learning and continually pursues advanced education to ensure her patients receive the highest standard of care.

Her clinical interests include adult hearing loss, cochlear implants, tinnitus evaluation and treatment, and hearing protection. She believes hearing healthcare should never be one-size-fits-all. Every recommendation is tailored to each patient’s communication goals, lifestyle, and hearing needs. One principle guides every appointment: trust, but verify. She believes clinical decisions should be supported by objective measurements and real-world outcomes—not assumptions.

At the heart of Dr. Batta’s philosophy is a simple belief: people don’t come to an audiologist because they want hearing aids—they come because they want their lives back. Whether that means hearing grandchildren more clearly, participating confidently in conversations, returning to work, or simply enjoying dinner with friends again, better hearing is always about something bigger than the technology itself.

She believes the best care begins by listening before diagnosing, educating before recommending, and partnering with patients to find solutions that fit their lives. Her goal is for every patient to leave feeling heard, hopeful, and confident about their next steps.

As the owner of an independent, locally owned practice, Dr. Batta is passionate about serving the Winchester community through educational programs, physician collaboration, local events, and outreach that encourages people to protect and prioritize their hearing long before it becomes a problem. She believes healthcare extends beyond the walls of the clinic and strives to leave every person—and every community she serves—a little better than she found it.

For Dr. Batta, Happy Hearing Clinic is the realization of a lifelong dream. When she’s not caring for patients, you’ll likely find her exploring local events with her husband and their rescue pups, enjoying live music, getting lost in a good book, or finding new ways to make Winchester a healthier, more connected community.
